Service Description
PhishSniff is a Gmail Add-on that helps users detect potential phishing emails by analyzing the content of the currently opened Gmail message. It identifies suspicious keywords, shortened or unsafe links, and known phishing domains, and adds labels to potentially harmful messages.
User Responsibilities
- You agree to use the Service for lawful purposes only.
- You are solely responsible for your use of the Service and any actions you take based on the information provided by it.
- You acknowledge that no phishing detection tool is perfect and that PhishSniff should be used as an additional layer of protection, not a substitute for judgment or training.
Data Handling
PhishSniff only processes the currently opened email in your Gmail account. It does not store or transmit your email data externally, except to perform link safety checks using Google Safe Browsing. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for more details.
Intellectual Property
All rights, title, and interest in and to the PhishSniff name, logo, and software are owned by VerdinApps. You may not reproduce, modify, or distribute the Service without our permission.
Limitation of Liability
PhishSniff is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages or losses resulting from your use of the Service. You agree to use the Service at your own risk.
Changes to the Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page, and your continued use of the Service will constitute acceptance of the updated terms.
